If Lampi AI did not join your meeting as expected, it could be due to various reasons. Below are the most common causes and their solutions to help resolve the issue.
1. Auto-Join is disabled
If the auto-join feature is turned off, Lampi AI will not automatically join your meetings. Lampi AI will only join meetings when explicitly invited or requested.
Solution:
- Verify your auto-join settings. Go to your Lampi AI dashboard and ensure that the auto-join feature is enabled for your calendar. For more, see How to set Lampi AI to join only meetings you want.
2. Missing or invalid meeting URL
Lampi AI cannot join if the meeting invite doesnβt include a valid URL or if the provided URL is incorrect.
Solution:
- Double-check that a valid meeting URL is included in the calendar invite.
- Correct any spelling errors in the meeting URL.
3. Calendar not synced
Lampi AI requires access to your calendar to join scheduled meetings.
Solution:
- Ensure that your calendar is synced with Lampi AI.
- Note: Lampi AI currently supports Google and Microsoft Teal Calendars only.
4. Meeting settings
Depending on the meeting settings, participants outside the organization may not be able to join the meeting. In that case, Lampi AI will not be able to joint the meeting.
In particular, Lampi AI is not able to join meetings where you have required the user to sign in to the application. Lampi AI will not be able to sign in to the related application. 5. Internal issue or external factors beyond our control
Occasionally, issues may arise due to internal issues or external factors such as Google Meet or Microsoft Teams issue, server downtime with our cloud provider, or temporary disruptions in connectivity.
